CCSD human resources executive John Stilwell has announced the creation of 4,100 jobs in the Cape Town area in the coming months as part of a global expansion of its human resources and human resource executive.
He made the announcement at a public announcement in the G4s office in the city’s North End on Friday.
“We are looking to add 2,000 new jobs in this region over the next six months, creating an additional 4,400 permanent and seasonal positions,” Mr Stilworth said.
The company said it has a network of more than 15,000 employees in the UK, the US, Ireland and South Africa.
Mr Stilwill said it would continue to expand into new markets in Africa, including in Botswana and Tanzania.
“The next stage is to expand our network into areas such as Mozambique, Ethiopia and Uganda,” he said.
“We will have a large presence in these regions as we seek to grow our workforce in all parts of the world.”‘
We are not here to be a distraction’A spokesman for the company said the company’s expansion would have “no negative impact on our employees”.
“We have always been committed to creating good quality jobs in our communities,” he told news.com.au.
This was not the first time G4 has made a big move into Africa, with the company announcing a $3.2 billion expansion of operations in Nigeria in 2017.
