Harvard says it has fired over 20 employees over complaints of sexual harassment

BEAUMONT, Texas – The University of Texas at Austin says it fired more than 20 people on Tuesday over complaints that they sexually harassed women.

In a statement, UTSA said in part that its Human Resources department and Office of Diversity and Inclusion had been made aware of complaints about misconduct at the university.

The University said it has been working with its Office of Gender Equity and Diversity to identify the individuals involved and make changes to ensure the university has the right resources to address these issues, the statement said.UTSA’s statement does not provide a date for the alleged misconduct.

In a separate statement, the university said the firing of the alleged offenders is in the hands of the HR department and that they have been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.
