How does a CEO compare to the rest of us?

A recent NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll shows that CEOs in Silicon Valley are a lot better-informed than most Americans.

Nearly three-quarters of them said that they knew at least one person who had a job with the tech giant.

This suggests that, in some cases, they were doing a better job of communicating what they were learning to their co-workers.

“I was surprised at the number of CEOs that I knew in the tech sector who were able to communicate their value proposition to the people who were there,” said Peter L. Shuklin, who teaches marketing at Stanford University and is director of the Stanford Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology.

“I don’t think a CEO needs to be an expert in that.

It’s a very general way to understand a person.”

For the most part, it’s harder for CEOs to understand the value of their teams.

“CEOs need to be able to explain the value proposition of a team to the outside world,” said Shukin.

“If you can understand what you’re doing and what people are looking for in the company and how they’re being compensated, then you can sell your product better,” he said.

“You’re more likely to be more successful if you have a strong understanding of what you are doing,” he added.

Companies can also benefit from giving employees a sense of what they’re doing.

When employees see the numbers and stats behind a company’s success, they can decide how much they value their time and focus on the business.

“For the CEO, they’re really going to have to be doing a lot of thinking about what the company is all about,” said Zweiber.

“What are they trying to do?

How can they help the company succeed?”
